Raheel Adnan Janjua (Coordinator LDS) was the chief adjudicator from Pakistan. A close fight in the initial round finally gave GIKI-A a victory over LUMS in the semifinal which earned them the right to represent Pakistan in the final.

In the final GIKI – A beat RAMJAS College Delhi, the best debating team in India at the moment, by a walloping margin of 7-0.
Imaad Rashid (Batch-13), captain of the GIKI debating team, was declared as the best speaker.
